Target 4.7 of United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 4 focuses on the relevance of learning and envisages the mainstreaming of Education for Global Citizenship. Target 4.7 is considered not just the heart and soul of Sustainable Development Goal 4 but a lynchpin to realizing all other Sustainable Development Goals. The Global Citizenship Foundation defines Global Citizenship Education (GCED) as a transformative, lifelong pursuit that involves both curricular learning and practical experience to shape a mindset to care for humanity and the planet and to equip individuals with global competencies to undertake responsible actions aimed at forging more just, peaceful, secure, sustainable, tolerant and inclusive societies. In this context, we ask experts and practitioners, "How can we mainstream & advance Global Citizenship Education?"

The Panel Discussion is intended to empower educators and educational leaders by deepening their understanding of Global Citizenship Education (GCED), a vital domain of education that can contribute to ensuring students' development as independent, thoughtful, and active global citizens.

Join the discourse at the 18th Online Educational Leadership Forum Panel Discussion with leading practitioners and experts as we explore strategies that educators can adapt to mainstream & advance Global Citizenship Education.

Engage in the discourse and participate in global networking at the Lounge! and get a chance to attend the launch of the 3rd Edition of the .ed Magazine.
