Airmeet
Global solidarity action doesn't happen in a vacuum, it grows out of a sense of global citizenship: the belief that our responsibilities and interests extend beyond national borders.
This session explores that relationship directly, tracing how ideas of global citizenship have historically translated into solidarity movements, and how such movements - through connection and collective action - have informed policy and political outcomes across the 20th and 21st centuries. The session explores what it means to practice global citizenship responsibly and effectively in the digital age, and the opportunity it offers to shape our shared future.
