Deepti Singh graduated from the school of International Peace Studies at SokaUniversity Japan in March 2020. She completed her graduation as a Bachelor’s inTechnology in Computer Science major from Vidya College of Engineering, UttarPradesh in 2012. Post her engineering, she worked with the leading healthcare company –The United Health Group (UHG) for five years as a Software Tester and parallelly playeda pivotal role in the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) sector of UHG.

She has worked alongside several NGO’s which focuses on imparting education and character building for the less privileged kids in Gurugram, India.As a master’s student at Soka University, Deepti’s research was focused on “Global Citizenship Education as an educational priority to achieve the Sustainable DevelopmentGoals”. Since August 2019, she has been working as a ‘Global Schools Program –Advocate’ in Japan which is an initiative of UN Sustainable Development SolutionsNetwork of Youth  www.globalschoolsprogram.org .

As an advocate, she facilitated the schools in Japan to implement the SDG education and Global Citizenship Education. Sheis also trained as a Climate Reality Leader by the former US Vice President Al Gore as apart of his project ‘Climate Reality Project – Tokyo’. Currently, she is working as a mentor of global schools’ program for five countries including Philippines, Japan, Korea,China, and Indonesia.She has worked as a Freelance Facilitator to provide mentoring and facilitation across a series of 10 x1hr workshops online as part of the Beyond Skin PeaceIV programme‘Blueprint’ ( https://www.beyondskin.net/blueprint ) since August 2020.

Blueprint is a Building Positive Relations Cultural Diversity Programme acrossthe Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area supported by the European Union’sPEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) .Deepti has worked with a diverse range of educational institutions in Japan, includingpublic schools such as Mizuho, private institutions like Meisei, and after-school programssuch as Mockingbird. She is currently serving as a High School Lecturer at Soka High School in Tokyo.
