Dr Brighid Golden is a lecturer in Global Citizenship Education at Mary Immaculate College in Ireland. Brighid is a primary school teacher and has a Masters in International Approaches to Education with International Development from the University of Birmingham, and a PhD from the University of Glasgow which focused on the intersection between critical thinking, global citizenship education and teacher education.

She is the editor of Curious Teachers, Critical Classrooms, recent book from the DICE Project, and the host of the podcast series Curious and Critical GCE on Spotify. Brighid has represented MIC on the national DICE Project network since 2014. Brighid teaches, researches, and publishes in the areas of global citizenship education, critical thinking, resource development, initial teacher education, and self-study research approaches.
