Jo Salazar is a licensed clinical social worker and organizational development professional based in Chicago. She began her career teaching social skills classes to young people in schools and quickly became interested in learning what it would take to change the culture and climate of an entire organization through adult social and emotional development. She is the author of Better Together: Six Essential Conversations for Cultivating Adult SEL and Relational Trust in Your School and Leading with Emotional Intelligence: A Daily Journal. Her favorite part of this work has been helping to transform complex ideas into simple, yet practical tools that solve problems and drive improvement.
