Myriam Radhouane is a professor at the University of Geneva, where she has been conducting research on the links between migration and education for about ten years.Her work focuses particularly on forced migration, the use of heritage languages in school settings, and global citizenship. She leads the Education–Sustainability and Global Citizenship Laboratory (ESG Lab).
Alongside this research, she has also carried out studies on Global Citizenship Education, exploring its potential within school curricula and how it is understood by future teachers. Her current projects examine education in emergency contexts and the impacts of climate change on education systems, with a particular focus on the teaching profession.
She is also very interested in analyzing the way universities can be actors of global citizenship education.
