Rachel Liang MEdPsy is a developmental and educational psychologist, mental health researcher, and qualified mindfulness therapy teacher.

Rachel Liang MEdPsy is a developmental and educational psychologist, mental health researcher and qualified mindfulness therapy teacher, with wellbeing at the heart of what she does. She works as a trilingual school psychologist at an independent school (K-12) in Melbourne with a focus on working with international students and their families. Rachel is passionate about exploring ways to increase social emotional competency across the K-12 curriculum and to develop creative ways for children and youth from diverse backgrounds with different needs to acquire the coping knowledge and skills for holistic and optimal development. She holds the role of an Honorary Fellow at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, The University of Melbourne where she works across several research projects including the coordination of the Early Years Coping Project from 2011 to present. Rachel has communicated her research to local, national and international audience through consultations, train-the-trainers’ workshops, peer-review journal publications and international conferences. She has co-authored in 2020 with Frydenberg and Deans Promoting Well-Being in the Pre-school Years. London: Routledge.
